Synopsis

Michael Mikaele, a young man in a catatonic state, resides in a psychiatric ward where his doctor believes her personal feelings justify sexual assault. The film explores the events leading to his condition. Michael is an artist from a troubled family, working for eight years at a job he despises, drawing images from suggestive T-shirt slogans. His boss, Bill, is unsympathetic, using motivational tapes and assigning Michael's girlfriend (also an employee) to assist him during work hours, observed by a co-worker named Joni. Bill denies Michael time off despite his obvious illness. In an attempt to escape, Michael ties T-shirts to the bathroom window and befriends Rod, unknowingly his girlfriend's father. He experiences hallucinations, including seeing the cinematographer in a towel within his apartment.
