Synopsis

Manolis Glezos is a central figure in Greek folklore, famous for tearing the swastika flag from the Acropolis during the 1941 Nazi occupation. He has since lived a complex life, marked by both acclaim and disagreement, consistently fighting for his beliefs. Now, as Greece struggles with a severe economic crisis, Glezos has gained renewed attention, becoming the oldest member of the European Parliament at 92 in 2014. However, he avoids discussing the "flag incident," resisting being defined solely by that event. Throughout the film, he playfully scolds, lectures, and jokes with the filmmakers as they explore the man behind the legend.
