Synopsis

AMERICAN INDIAN GRAFFITI: THIS THING, LIFE follows four Native Americans whose lives become connected during a single summer. Stephanie, a recent high school graduate, faces disappointment after being rejected by her desired colleges and is deeply affected by the revelation that her mother attempted an abortion. This new information intensifies her lifelong feelings of guilt and rejection. Rachel, Stephanie's close friend, finds her aspirations shifting and their friendship strained. Grieving the loss of her mother and brother, she feels overwhelmed by pain and believes healing lies in forgiving the person responsible for their deaths. Meanwhile, Steve, a successful artist at twenty-three, grapples with the unexpected fulfillment of his dreams, leading to confusion and a fear of future goals.
