Synopsis

The film presents two interconnected stories. The first follows Manuel, a solitary man whose detachment isolates him from everyone, including his son. His monotonous life, marked by routine and alcohol, takes a turn with the unexpected arrival of Norma, a bar bartender who unknowingly brings hope for a new romance. The second story centers on the Aristigueta family, wealthy Venezuelans struggling financially due to their father's poor choices. Alejandra, the eldest, has spent years in New York, shielded from her family and homeland. Returning to Venezuela forces Alejandra to confront her responsibilities and take charge of her family's future, while her brother Francisco navigates life in the city's less glamorous areas.
