Rats serve as symbolic figures throughout this film, constantly seeking chances to take what belongs to others. The scenes in TYICKOOUNS are laced with irony. The TYICKOOUNS series begins in Siem Pang village, a remote community of people exiled and isolated by their own people. The village's name, "Siem Pang," comes from a former Communist prisoner who escaped and hid there before disappearing. In Siem Pang, children are denied education, teenagers lack guidance, parents doubt their marriages, and young people increasingly turn to gangs. Then, the Baha Tycoon arrives with his forces from Bandar Besar Pongga, including Cikgu Gadak, aiming to change the villagers' lives. However, his changes are met with resistance, ultimately leading to his assassination.
