I decided to watch Top Gun again before seeing the new one. The way women are portrayed in the film certainly hasn't stood up well over time, but I still enjoyed it a lot. The flight scenes continue to be thrilling and the relationships between the men lead to some really good lines. It has a fantastic soundtrack and those famous sunglasses. Rating: B
