There's something appealing about a romantic narrative with an old-fashioned feel, and this film had a decent storyline. However, I felt that the setting seemed dated when considering it was made in 2020. The performances were what really stood out to me; they almost made up for the shortcomings, creating a gap between giving it two and three stars.⭐⭐
