Synopsis

"Not in Textbooks!" continues the series with a live-action adaptation of a popular love comedy manga by Kazuto Okada from "Sundome." The film centers on the long-term living arrangement between high school girl Aya Shirakaba and her homeroom teacher, Arihiko Tairaku. Their peaceful life is disrupted when Okubo, a senior student captivated by Aya's popularity and beauty, kidnaps her. Tairaku rushes to her rescue and finds himself in a dangerous situation, while a separate hostage crisis erupts at the school involving student May Yayoi. Ayaka Morikawa stars as Aya Shirakaba, Ryouma Baba as Arihiko Tairaku, and Anna Hongo makes her acting debut as May, an English teacher with affections for Tairaku.
