Synopsis

Valluvanar, a highly respected and honest political leader in Tamil Nadu, struggles when his son Kamban is unjustly jailed. The opposition party seizes the opportunity to bail Kamban out, and he joins their ranks, causing embarrassment for his father. The media amplifies the story. To escape the situation, Kamban plans to leave the country, a plan known only to his mother, Vasuki. He finds refuge in Sri Lanka with Banerjee, a Bengali man. There, he meets Shilpa, a college student preparing for civil services, after discovering a Tamil book on the beach and tracing it back to her. The film blends reality and fiction, featuring Theepori, a fictional father figure who advises Kamban to embrace love. The narrative then explores the emotional conflict between her career aspirations and romantic feelings.
