Okachimachi Kaito makes his directorial debut with this film starring Ono Machiko, known for her work in *The Mourning Forest* and with director Kawase Naomi. The movie tells the story of the innocent love that develops between a prisoner on death row and the fiancée of the man he killed. Nominated for the "Japanese Eyes" section at the Tokyo International Film Festival, the film follows Jun (Kubota Masashi), who is sentenced to death for a robbery that resulted in murder. While incarcerated, he meets Kaoru (Ono), a Christian and the fiancée of his victim. When her fiancé is found to have been with another woman at the time of his death, Jun and Kaoru begin a secret correspondence using a Bible, and find themselves drawn to each other.
