Synopsis

Following his acclaimed film "Pleasures of the Damned," private investigator Jack Steele is hired by a mysterious treasure hunter to locate Marco Polo's lost treasure. Jack's adopted son, Billy, joins him on the journey. Their search leads them to an island off the coast of Argentina, where they encounter a primitive cannibal tribe known as the Yamma Yamma. Alexis Kinkaid, a reclusive figure living among the cannibals, may hold the key to the island’s secret – if they can avoid becoming their next meal. Originally released in Italy in 1980, "Isle of the Damned" sparked controversy, drawing criticism from the Italian government for its graphic depiction of tribal rituals and cannibalism. This digitally remastered version makes the long-unavailable film accessible again.
