Synopsis

Marcos (Gustavo Garzon), a university lecturer feeling deeply unfulfilled, receives funding for research back in his hometown. There, he reconnects with his childhood friend Raul (Leo Masliah), who is now a priest. The film shifts back to their school days twenty years prior, during Argentina's turbulent 1970s, when Raul was dating Tamara (Victoria de Elizalde). Mature Tamara (Laura Melillo) returns from Paris with her husband Paul (Ginger Poujoulet) to care for her ailing mother. While Marcos conducts his research, he inadvertently uncovers significant political and economic corruption involving the lab's owners, headed by Dr. Castembacher (Jean Pierre Reguerraz).
