Synopsis

Kumar, a man in his thirties, quits his corporate job in Kochi to pursue his dream of becoming a graphic novelist. He begins driving for Uber while working on his graphic novel, ‘Pixelia’. A chance encounter with Mandakini, a transgender woman, profoundly alters Kumar’s life. They spend the day together, sharing deeply personal stories and perspectives. Mandakini recounts her past and her longing to adopt, while Kumar describes his graphic novel. A strong bond forms between them, leading Kumar to confront his own queer identity. As their relationship deepens, Kumar grapples with the challenges of adoption for a queer couple in India. ‘Pixelia,’ blending documentary and magical realism styles, explores the fragmented nature of modern life.
