It’s always enjoyable to find an international horror film that seems to be commenting on Western culture, and it's disappointing that Hex didn't quite live up to that potential. I have to admit, though, that my fears about how bad it would be were slightly unfounded after reading some opinions on Letterboxd. _Final rating:★★ - It had elements that resonated with me, but ultimately the execution fell short._
