This is a modest film for John Wayne, centering on a cattle drive headed toward Montana that runs into fairly standard challenges during its journey. There are amusing lines scattered throughout, some enjoyable action sequences with firearms, and generally, it maintains a decent pace considering the time needed to get the livestock where they’re going.
