It strikes me that I have a hazy recollection of watching this film as a child with my folks, probably around forty years back—particularly the scene where they attempt to deceive a dangerous fugitive who’s escaped from custody while on their boat by preparing an extremely unappetizing dinner. It remains genuinely amusing even after all these years and across multiple generations.
