Synopsis

Leung Foon, now 52, has weathered three major life changes: being awakened to adulthood by Ann, marrying her and becoming subservient to her, and then losing their 8-year-old daughter, who left him alone. These experiences hardened him, fostering a strong sense of male dominance. He’s now a highly valued, ruthless employee of a company chairman, driven by profit without remorse, and financially secure. However, he deeply regrets that Ann never witnessed his success. His wealth has left him feeling alienated, even afraid to look at himself. A fourth upheaval occurs when his daughter, He He, unexpectedly returns. He struggles to connect with the grown woman she has become, his memories fixated on her as an 8-year-old girl. He He’s return sparks a transformation in Leung Foon, allowing him to confront his past and rediscover a youthful spirit.
