Synopsis

Following her husband's death, Elizabeth rediscovers her passion for playing the tenor saxophone, triggering memories of her time as a 15-year-old member of the Blonde Bombshells, an all-female swing band with one male musician. Encouraged by her granddaughter, and with the help of that one exception, Elizabeth seeks out the band's former members to reunite and perform. Through this journey, she uncovers forgotten stories about the band, its members, the details of their iconic drum set, and ultimately, a deeper understanding of herself – as the last surviving member of the Blonde Bombshells.
