Synopsis

Years ago, a young woman named Seethalakshmi became pregnant but concealed the father's identity. As punishment, the village chief, Periya Ayya, confined her to a small hut and took her newborn son after the child's birth. Meanwhile, Dharmaraj and Varalakshmi married, and Periya Ayya sent the baby away to another village. Later, Sakthi returns to his village and becomes the temple manager, believing himself to be an orphan. He and Raani fall in love. However, Varalakshmi's brother, Sethupathi, attempts to steal valuable items from the temple. Sakthi thwarts Sethupathi's first attempt. He then targets the temple's Kalasam, framing Sakthi and earning Periya Ayya’s dismissal. Finally, Sakthi discovers the truth about his parents: Dharmaraj and Seethalakshmi. What happens next is the story's core.
