The special effects are noticeably above what you typically see in science fiction films. James Marsters does a decent job given the circumstances, and the combination of Western and science fiction elements works out nicely. Nevertheless, it remains a made-for-television movie, and quite a ridiculous one at that. Final rating:★★ - It had aspects I enjoyed, but the end result wasn’t very good.
