Synopsis

This soap opera, reminiscent of 1980s dramas, centers on German industrialist Michaela von Baer, who fiercely defends her company, Von Baer Enterprises, against powerful rivals. Her cousin, Russian actress Clarissa Oktavia, is declared dead by her psychiatrist, Dr. Ingolf Robert, only to reappear alive. Meanwhile, Michaela's adversary, police officer Penelope Stöcker, plots revenge for her father's death. Michaela suffers a devastating loss and retreats to Monaco. Police Inspector Brigitte Hasentritt, who investigated Clarissa’s supposed murder, becomes pivotal, marrying one of Michaela’s former husbands and gaining control of the company, all while contending with vampires and aggressive dogs. By the series conclusion, all characters transform into vampires, crossdressers, or are revealed to be insane. The finale culminates in Clarissa being devoured by Penelope and Brigitte, Dr. Robert impersonating her, and Michaela dying after choking on a cheeseburger.
