Synopsis

Celebrating their 15th anniversary, Barbara feels overlooked when her husband Thomas forgets her birthday. Instead of dwelling on it, Barbara decides to treat herself to a trip to Mexico, a belated honeymoon she always wanted. She travels with her friend Sandra and meets Diego, a photographer, and Pepe, a bar owner who mentions he's the brother of Consuela, a mother with two children. Sandra enjoys spending time with Diego. As their trip nears its end, Pepe invites Barbara on a boat ride. They spend the night together, and the next morning, while Barbara is at the helm, Pepe falls overboard and suffers a concussion. Unable to control the boat, Barbara crashes it on the beach. Sandra calls, urging her to head to the airport, but Barbara decides to stay, also calling Thomas to let him know she'll be extending her trip.
