Synopsis

Nick Koenig, known as Hot Sugar, is facing a difficult time. Celebrated as a contemporary musical genius, he creates Grammy-nominated electronic music by recording everyday sounds – like payphone rings and Hurricane Sandy rain – and transforming them into beats. He has a seemingly perfect life with his popular girlfriend, the rapper/singer "Kitty." However, when she ends their relationship, Hot Sugar feels lost. He travels to Paris to find himself and discover new musical inspiration.
