This 1980s horror-thriller isn't terrible; while the script occasionally falters, particularly with the dialogue, I found myself enjoying it from beginning to end. The conclusion seemed oddly disconnected, almost as if borrowed from another story, and incorporating elements of a vampire narrative. I viewed the new Vinegar Syndrome edition, and that was exceptionally well-produced. **3.25/5**
