Synopsis

"Harry for the Holidays" is a Christmas television special, filmed in high definition and first shown on NBC in 2003. The show takes place in the historic Bowery Savings Building/Cipriani 42nd Street, with occasional glimpses of passing cars visible through the windows behind Harry Connick Jr. and his Big Band. Connick performs familiar holiday songs with unique arrangements featuring edgy strings, brass, and complex rhythms, contrasting with traditional versions.
