Synopsis

Ryuichi runs a small Japanese company, "I Want To Cheer You Up Ltd," managing it from his phone and laptop. He rents out people – family, friends, colleagues, or strangers – to help others conceal secrets and create the appearance of a perfect, normal life. On the surface, Ryuichi has an ordinary life: a 44-year-old married man with two video-game-loving sons and a typical 9-to-5 job. However, he finds true fulfillment impersonating family for others. His own family is unaware of this, leading him to live a double life. Will Ryuichi be able to keep his secret, or will helping others force him to confront his own life and reveal his deception to his family?
