Synopsis

Todd Verow's experimental film depicts a world on the brink of apocalypse. Composed of twenty short films, it examines the anxieties and desires of various people awaiting an unknown end. Some seek escape through physical, emotional, or sexual means, while others embrace the impending destruction. A woman (PHILLY) carries her deceased body, searching for a final resting place, and encounters a former lover (MICHAEL BURKE), now a man. He wants to flee, but she wants to stay, believing that with the end of time, nothing matters. Several gay men pursue increasingly extreme sexual encounters, seeking intense experiences before the collapse. Two gay ex-lovers attempt to reconnect, desperate for any feeling amidst overwhelming emptiness. Porn actors and producers create more graphic and disturbing films as fantasies become darker. The film questions whether the world will end dramatically or fade away, or perhaps not end at all.
