It’s a respectable follow-up, picking up where its predecessor ended. Those familiar with the manga series shouldn’t anticipate complete faithfulness to the source material, since the narrative diverges significantly following the festival arc. Nevertheless, it remains enjoyable because the characters develop in expected ways. I'm eager to see what comes next.
