Synopsis

Yuko, a shy office worker who maintains a daily morning jog, harbors a secret crush on Teppei, a university student she's too timid to approach. Recently relocated to Tokyo, she struggles with city life. After witnessing a sexual assault on a train, Yuko herself becomes a victim. Her cries for help are dismissed as simply a strong accent. Finding comfort at an izakaya run by Ken and Kumiko, she feels at ease with Kumiko, who shares her hometown roots. Teppei begins working there part-time, intensifying Yuko's embarrassment and inability to speak to him. That night, she experiences self-pleasure for the first time while dreaming of him. Her older sister Yayoi visits, honeymooning with her husband Yoji, a train enthusiast. Yuko confides in Yayoi about her unrequited feelings and receives advice to boldly express them.
