This collection contains some truly awful material, and it gets incredibly tedious—I fast-forwarded through what felt like a significant portion. The last segment, "Dr. Mortis," stood out as the most enjoyable. Everything else largely consists of foolish characters behaving in ridiculous ways. It all came back to me why I quit watching "V/H/S." The horror genre is overflowing with substandard work.

This newest installment, at least in my view, pushes boundaries too far with its portrayal of a young serial killer's actions; I found it disturbing and extremely distasteful.
