Synopsis

Eeswar is a 2002 Telugu film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee, starring Prabhas and Sridevi Vijaykumar, with Siva Krishna and Revathi in supporting roles. Eeswar (Prabhas) is an orphaned and rebellious young man living in the slums of Old City. His father (Siva Krishna) makes arrack with help from the community. Eeswar falls for Indu (Sridevi) at first sight, a college student. His father then marries Sujatha (Revathi), who has waited two decades to care for Eeswar. Eeswar resents his stepmother, believing the marriage was for his father's pleasure. Meanwhile, Indu’s father is a local MLA (Ashok Kumar) who despises the poor. He sends thugs after Eeswar. The film's second half details the consequences.
