Paramount’s effort to enter the world of monster horror feels like they combined two separate films—a crime story and a science fiction thriller about a creature—resulting in something watchable, even if it's not particularly serious, and ultimately rather underwhelming. I found myself waiting for the monster to appear as the movie progressed through its brief 65-minute length. **2.75/5**
