Synopsis

Parapsychologists Lee and Claire Marshall narrowly avoid a collision in the woods after a close encounter with an insectoid creature. Seeking assistance, they stumble upon a secluded house inhabited by the strange Bart and Mart, brothers who were once twins. Bart has since begun to transform into a glowing green monster, and they are ruled by their domineering mother, the "Maw," who is unnaturally young due to a time vortex anomaly. This peculiar family protects a hidden secret, violently eliminating anyone who gets too close. As Lee and Claire try to escape, they navigate a dangerous "Dead Place" filled with bizarre creatures, culminating in a terrifying confrontation with the alien origin of these mysteries.
