Synopsis

This is the story of a gifted street musician who dreams of recording success and connection. Richard Peterson plays trumpet on the streets and occasionally appears on a local radio show. His life is filled with intense passions: classic television shows like "Sea Hunt," the music from "The Golden Age of Television" (which inspires several albums), pursuing local TV stars, and a deep admiration for Johnny Mathis. His unique connection with Mathis leads to his most significant composition, "Love on the Golf Course." While playing gigs and a piano in a grunge club, Richard catches the attention of the band Stone Temple Pilots. His brief moment of fame is overshadowed when he confronts the consequences of his obsessions and a long-hidden family secret.
