It was really difficult getting through Men In Black: International, mainly because Chris Hemsworth’s performance felt like a struggle. I didn't find his effort at embodying the intended rebellious personality even remotely amusing; he seemed unable to deliver the humor or any of the necessary charm that the role desperately needed.

Chris Hemsworth elevates any project he’s in. The few genuinely good moments in Ghostbusters were thanks to him; his Thor films stand out as the strongest of the Marvel character-focused stories, and he consistently added enjoyment to the Avengers team-ups. Likewise, his humor helped make enduring a drop in quality from Men in Black 3 easier to handle. Simply put, watching him perform is entertaining.
