This remains one of my absolute favorite films. A sequel would have been welcome, in my opinion. Even now, it consistently makes me laugh. The humor holds up remarkably well over time.

I found myself laughing out loud while watching this. It’s really Carrey performing at his funniest! The straightforward storyline keeps things brief, which means there isn’t much exposition—it just lets Carrey launch into some familiar physical comedy routines. If you don't react with even a chuckle to it, I think you might need to see someone.
