The album 'As It Was' will likely appeal to those who already appreciate Oasis, but echoing a line from Bob Fosse’s ‘Star 80’, I find Liam Gallagher’s attempts at sentimentality difficult to accept. A boastful or manipulative Liam Gallagher is one thing; this softer side is something else entirely.
