The attempts at comedy just fell flat, it seems. The film misses a key element—that blend of silliness and dread that defines the series. Instead, it came across as gentle rather than outrageous, and I walked away feeling cheated.

It's strange to think that the _Leprechaun_ film with some connection to the first one is also the only entry without the original actor in the role. Surprisingly, this installment isn't terrible. The replacement does a decent job portraying the character within those small shoes. Final rating:★★½ - There were many aspects I liked, but it didn’t fully come together.
