It’s not exactly **good**, however, it does stand apart somewhat from the recent _Lake Placid_ installments. I'm certainly not suggesting it was frightening, but this one at least gave the impression of attempting to be a horror film. It remains pretty bad, though. _Final rating:★★ - There were aspects that resonated with me, despite the unsatisfactory outcome._
