While it doesn't quite reach the heights of the other films released to date, this installment remains an exciting experience with truly impressive action scenes. Keanu Reeves feels completely comfortable and believable in his role, even if the part doesn’t require a great deal of emotional depth from him.

The John Wick series shares a similar origin story to The Matrix: intriguing ideas are hampered by unremarkable directing, weak scripts, poor dialogue, serviceable performances, and impressive action sequences. John Wick 3 overstays its runtime, growing tiresome due to dull plot developments and unoriginal endings. It’s the kind of film you'll see once, promptly forget about, and have no desire to revisit.
