I didn’t really care for the initial installment, though I appreciated the younger actors; however, the film lacked any real scares. This second movie had a few decent scenes, and I enjoyed seeing how the characters developed into adults, but Bill Hader was definitely the best part. It still wasn't particularly frightening, and despite its considerable length, it didn’t feel slow-moving. Perhaps someday I’ll watch both movies one after another, but compared to each other, neither left a strong impression. **3.5/5**
