While I understand its place within the bleak and prejudiced atmosphere of the early nineties, this film simply comes across as grating and carelessly made when viewed from a different perspective. There were moments that elicited some amusement, yet they weren’t enough to redeem what is essentially a promising concept brought to life in an inept fashion.
