I had low hopes going in, particularly given the rhymes at the start. However, as things moved forward and the storyline developed, along with the comedic elements, it started to win me over, and I ended up liking it quite a bit. It was an unexpected delight! The characters were well-developed, the plot was strong, and there were plenty of laughs. Well done.

The plot is inventive, and there are moments that elicit a chuckle. While not ranking among my preferred adaptations of his work, it’s perfectly acceptable. My appreciation for these Dr. Seuss films has grown with each one I’ve seen.
