It feels like a collection of scenes pulled from his earlier movies, without much fresh material.

This thriller doesn’t rise above being mediocre, hampered by a convoluted storyline and weak writing. Liam Neeson’s performance does manage to elevate the film somewhat. The action sequences are unremarkable, failing to leave much of an impression, but it provides adequate entertainment for a single viewing. It's certainly preferable to Taken 3, though. **3.0/5**

The setup of 'Honest Thief' is reasonably interesting, and it benefits from a cast that’s good enough to make it worthwhile seeing on the big screen, particularly if you're looking for something different – but don't anticipate being deeply moved or completely absorbed by what unfolds.
