I really have to say that the acting in this film was just not good. Tessa Thompson doesn’t work well as the central figure; I’ve noticed similar issues watching her in West World, and I honestly believe she should consider another career path. There was a moment during one of her dramatic scenes where my husband actually burst out laughing. The movie itself wasn't particularly enjoyable either, and I don't imagine that replacing the lead actress would have made much of a difference.
