The cast—Mack Davis, Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, among others—was enough to make me give this Christmas movie a chance, and I'm glad I did. Everyone involved delivered strong performances, the narrative felt logical, the storyline was executed effectively, and the setting had a pleasant, small-town feel. It all worked out really well.
