This is a really pleasant stop-motion movie, suitable for viewers of all ages. The storytelling offers various lessons about living, and it’s presented with lovely animation. My only wish would be that the primary characters displayed a wider range of emotions on their faces.

The animation in _Even Mice Belong in Heaven_ is lovely, and the story unfolds as a wonderful journey containing small moments of wisdom that feel genuine. A mine cart chase scene strikingly resembles something from _Donkey Kong Country_, and there's a definite sense that _Pinocchio_ served as an inspiration for the film; it’s an emotionally satisfying and significant movie suitable for viewers of any age.
