Synopsis

Elephants Dream follows two unusual characters as they navigate a complex and seemingly endless machine. Proog, the older of the two, acts as both guide and protector, enthusiastically presenting the machine's wonders and hazards to his protege, Emo, who begins with curiosity but grows increasingly doubtful. As they journey deeper, evidence suggests Proog's understanding of the machine may be incomplete, causing his guidance to become more urgent. Elephants Dream explores themes of communication and storytelling, designed as the first open-ended 3D animated film. The movie and all its production files are released under a Creative Commons license, allowing anyone with a computer to remake, remix, or repurpose the film. It was created using free and open-source software, including Blender, ensuring its accessibility.
