Synopsis

In a vibrant city, Cantinflas is a porter who uses his talent for words to help others, writing letters and speeches for people who can't express themselves. While studying, he earns extra money this way. He falls in love with Silvia Pinal, a beautiful woman from his neighborhood who is unable to walk. As they fall in love, Cantinflas faces competition from a young soldier who also admires Silvia. Instead of competing, Cantinflas decides to help both of them. Inspired by Cyrano de Bergerac, he secretly writes passionate love letters for the soldier to send to Silvia. His actions are meant not only to win Silvia's heart but also to raise money for an operation that could allow her to walk again. The story is set against a backdrop of hope and resilience, exploring the complexities of love and the power of words and connection to transform lives.
