It's not among the very best disaster films, certainly not on par with classics like The Poseidon Adventure or The Towering Inferno—which I really enjoy—but it does feature some respectable special effects and miniature work, even if the acting isn’t always top-notch. It remains acceptable as a piece of 1970s entertainment.
